Custom MDF Mullion Grids
Our custom MDF mullion grids for cabinet doors are uniquely shaped decorative grids machined from a single piece of premium grade MDF using our CNC equipment. Unlike traditional wood mullion grids made from separate glued parts our MDF cabinet door mullions are machined as one solid piece giving them exceptional strength and clean precise lines. Whether you choose one of our existing custom mullion patterns or submit your own custom cabinet mullion design we can create something truly unique for your space.

Custom MDF Mullion Grids
Cabinet door mullion grids are only available in MDF since they are produced through our CNC equipment. If you see a mullion grid design you like above let us know. If you have a custom cabinet mullion design give us a sketch or picture of a design, we may be able to do this for you (no guarantees!). The price on your custom mullion grids will depend almost entirely on the size and complexity of your design.
The MDF used is premium grade fiberboard. Our MDF has excellent machinability and takes paint evenly. Are these as strong as our hardwood mullion grids? Yes. Rather than making the grids from separate parts being carefully glued together, these are machined from a single piece of material. In our opinion the MDF machined grids are about the same strength, especially when you put your glass pane in the back. You can expect normal life and functionality from these doors.
