Veneered Slabs have 1.5mm thick (about 1/16") external banded edges in a matching veneer, this door cannot have a machined profile edge. The Veneered Slab door cannot be ordered with the "no edge" option.
The Veneered Slab door is available in Select grades of the following wood species: Mahogany, Birch, Cherry, Hickory, Maple, Red Alder, Red Oak, Walnut, and White Oak. Some species are available in Quarter-Sawn or Rift Cuts. Call or email info@scherrs.com for more information on veneered options. Veneered Slab doors have MDF core panels. Samples shown on the wood information page are solid wood stock and may not accurately represent how veneered surface materials look. Click here for more information on veneer surface material options. Variations in tone, coloration, and grain pattern are to be expected from real wood veneers. For better consistency, ask about grain matching and reconstituted veneer options.
