Here are the wood options available for the exterior of the cabinets. The woods listed below are the most common options that we use for the exterior of the cabinets. The samples below are solid wood with a clear natural finish applied. Veneers will be similar in color but may not match the solid wood exactly.

A Paint Grade exterior is also available. For the exposed veneers we will use Birch. Paint Grade solid wood will be either Poplar or Soft Maple (your choice.)

Laminate or Veneer is also available for the exterior of the cabinets. You can specify any of the patterns or styles from Northern Contours brand of products. Simply click the link provided from this page, include what style you want to use from their page and we will work with them to get all of the sizing, material type, and hardware preparations including exact hinge boring taken care of for you.

For a lower price option for the garage, basement, closets, utility rooms etc. we can also supply an all melamine exterior on the cabinets.

If you would prefer a wood not listed above just let us know. We can get many special woods for our cabinets (e.g. Birdseye Maple, Tiger/Curly Maple, Wormy Maple, Red Birch, etc.)
