Open Frame Doors & Mullion Grids
Open frame doors do not include a middle panel and are prepared for glass or a separate middle insert. We do not provide the glass or a panel inserts for these doors, you will need to purchase these inserts.
This option is available for our MDF and frame and panel door style options. The following doors do NOT have the open frame option available styles #125, #250 and #255. Our #400 style door does match well for an open frame door option for the door styles do not have an open frame option.
Mullion grid frames will be constructed with equally spaced lites. Custom mullion grid spacing or an odd number of lites in a frame is available. Attach a drawing to your order if you want a custom mullion grid setup.
The below options are available with mullion grid frames.
Mullions for Series 100, 200 and 400 frame styles
Mullions for Series 700, 800 and 900 frame styles
Mullions are stationary and cannot be removed. The mullions are splined for added strength.
Mullions are 1″ wide on #100 and #200 doors.
Mullions are 3/4″ wide on #400 doors.
Mullions are 1-1/4″ wide on #700, #800 and #900 doors.
Mullions for 600 series are avaiable for the doors 600, 602 and 604.
All designs (100 through 900) are prepared for a one piece square glass or insert (not included.)
Inset mullion grid frames will be constructed with equally spaced lites. Custom spacing or an odd number of lites in a frame are available.
Inset mullion grids are available for doors series #475, #476, #478 and #494 frames.
Glass, vinyl or wood retainers are available for open frame doors. Retainers are available to hold glass or panel inserts into open frame doors.
